Access: Drive on the B1283 to Easington Colliery. Turn off at the corner to head east down Office St. Go straight on down a dip under a very low bridge. Park behind the fence near the Sea Angler's clubhouse. Carry approx 200m under another bridge to the edge along the footpath.

Height: 80 ft.

Length: 200 m between gaps, but possible to fly 5 miles from NZ 443460 to NZ 497360.

Description: Industrial coastline with a grass bank take-off.

Suitability: Subject to conditions, all levels of flier.

Take-off: Where suitable.      

Landings: Top: Landing close to the edge can be turbulent due to ROTOR. Landing well behind take-off is best but the field is often in crop, so land to the right of the path from the car park to take-off.
Bottom: The beach is OK if the tide is low enough.

Comments: Flying at nearby Blackhall may be better if the wind is crossed from the north.
