Hello everyone – Yes, I'm Back

It is my aim to run all four events to raise money towards Prostate Cancer Fund.
I was inspired to do this because my Father in law was diagnosed with Prostate problems, two years ago.
Since then he has undergone various treatments, which has held its progression.
With your help, I would like to try to raise £5000 to give to the charity, to help others.

well done, I will give you £5 per event, but you will have to finish ALL of them, don't want you getting porky on us again. (thats my job)

Not so simple this One, I will give you £5 for each day you give up paragliding to do One of your events!
I.E if you are running and I am flying I will give you £5, If you are running and I am not flying I give you nothing (I may even come along and give you a shout).
Running a marathon is easy, Giving up Paragliding for a day is not!
Hope you reach your goal.

by my calculations, the number of days you have been flying & I have not, means you owe me over £10k,

(thats pounds, not marathon miles)

i've set an official page on just giving ,which means the collecting of monies is done by someone else,and paid directly to Prostate Cancer Charity.

Now back from my Hols , had a great time ,plenty of snow.

Nice to see the total creeping up slowly.

Now at £1035.00.

Afternoon guys

weathers crap , so i thought i let you know how it's all going.
Did my first 20 miler of my training today. 2hrs 40mins.
Good job i didn't have to climb cookies or carlton today, legs are shagged.

Glad to see and hear everyone is interested and thanks for the words of encouragement, sponsers up to £1550.00 upto now. Hopefully we will make £5000

Hopefully the weather will pick up and the summer will be good.

Well Lads
Sorry i missed the comp at the weekend ( well done to you all ), but i had a small matter of 26.2miles , the first of the four Runs.
Edinburgh Marathon ( in extremely hot weather ) 3hrs 51mins.
Let's hope the 13th of June is a bit cooler , Redcar Half Marathon.

Upto now the kitty stands at £2187.00 of the £5000 i am hoping to raise.

Hope to see you all on the hill shortly, when my legs decide to walk properly.
